  1. Form Your Team: Gather your friends and family to create a team. Purchase tickets for the game here.
  2. Receive Your Clues: Each team will be given 20 trivia-based clues to solve.
  3. Explore and Solve: The hunt takes place around the lower concourse of Comerica Park, starting at home plate and winding around the stadium (no stairs required). Each clue requires you to explore different parts of the stadium and upload a photo to Sporcle’s Digital Answering System to earn points.
  4. Game Timing: The hunt begins as soon as the gates open and continues until 30 minutes after the last pitch. It’s self-guided, so you can start at any point during the game window.
  5. Compete for Prizes: The top Trivia Hunt teams at the end of SporcleCon weekend will be entered into a drawing for our grand prize (TBA). There’s also a prize for the best team photo. You'll hear 20 different music clips. The first clip will be 20 seconds long, and you'll earn one point for the artist and one point for the song title. The next clip will be 19 seconds long, and the artist and title are worth two points each. We'll go all the way to song 20, which is one second long, with the artist and title worth 20 points each. Every question will also have a bonus point opportunity based on a trivia question.

Note: 20 Seconds will run two times during SporcleCon weekend. Once on Friday and once on Sunday. The content for each game will be unique, so feel free to play both times.

With Detroit and Canada's panoramic views as your backdrop and a cash bar available, it's the perfect setting to kickstart the SporcleCon festivities.

Each attendee is also invited (but not required) to bring homemade stickers, bracelets, or any other craft to exchange with others. We've seen our creative, community-minded friends sharing their crafts with each other in the past two years, and we want to help get everyone in on the fun! How the Trivia Hunt Works:

Get ready to dive into the fun with our Trivia Hunt at Comerica Park! Here’s how it works:
  1. Form Your Team: Gather your friends and family to create a team. Purchase tickets for the game here.
  2. Receive Your Clues: Each team will be given 20 trivia-based clues to solve.
  3. Explore and Solve: The hunt takes place around the lower concourse of Comerica Park, starting at home plate and winding around the stadium (no stairs required). Each clue requires you to explore different parts of the stadium and upload a photo to Sporcle’s Digital Answering System to earn points.
  4. Game Timing: The hunt begins as soon as the gates open and continues until 30 minutes after the last pitch. It’s self-guided, so you can start at any point during the game window.
  5. Compete for Prizes: The top Trivia Hunt teams at the end of SporcleCon weekend will be entered into a drawing for our grand prize (TBA). There’s also a prize for the best team photo. To be eligible for the best photo prize, upload any answer photo that includes your team and we’ll pick a winner.
  6. Game Tickets Required: You need a game ticket to participate in the Trivia Hunt, but you do not need SporcleCon tickets to join in the fun.
  7. Instructions and Clues: The clues and Digital Answering instructions will be posted on this page 30 minutes before the hunt opens for each game. Bookmarking this page now is recommended

20 Seconds Music Quiz

You'll hear 20 different music clips. The first clip will be 20 seconds long, and you'll earn one point for the artist and one point for the song title. The next clip will be 19 seconds long, and the artist and title are worth two points each. We'll go all the way to song 20, which is one second long, with the artist and title worth 20 points each. Every question will also have a bonus point opportunity based on a trivia question.

Note: 20 Seconds will run two times during SporcleCon weekend. Once on Friday and once on Sunday. The content for each game will be unique, so feel free to play both times.

  • Q Line: This street car service is free and stops outside of One Campus Martius and The Madison every 15 minutes. The stop near The Madison is also approximately a three-minute walk to The Fillmore.
  • SporcleCon Event Shuttle: We will provide a complimentary shuttle that travels between SporcleCon sites and hotels. Space on the shuttle is limited, so please consider walking or using the Q Line as potentially better options.
  • Walk: Most venues are within a 5-10 minute walk from each other.
  • People Mover: While the Q Line offers closer stops to most SporcleCon venues, the Detroit People Mover is also free and provides proximity to the venues as well.
